Sad News Chum, Edlund Says No New Home For The Tick

After the new the Amazon Prime had not picked up the show for a third season, fans, cast, and creator took to SMS to pleaded their case that this industry changing show is worthy of a new home.

With #SaveTheTick , #Chooselove , and even #SaveDangerboat the message was put out across the interwebs. And now, after a long hard fought battle on Reddit, Twitter, Instagram, and where ever else you get new from, it appears that Creator Ben Endlund has finally thrown in the towel.

After much door-knocking we have found no new home for the Tick series in this current market. #SaveTheTick & #LunaTickArmy I'm sorry we could not reward your glorious support with better news. I am so proud of the show, of the cast and crew and writers, and so warmed by the fans

Yes The Tick, as does Retro, Cool, Nerd, chooses love. I will now watch booth seasons, again, and be thankful for what we did get. True heroism, honest story telling, and a hilarious look at the world of Superheroes. I will miss the spot on portrayals of the Tick and Arthur, played by Peter Serafinowitz and Griffin Newman, respectively. They embodied the characters and their on screen chemistry shown a light on a new and interesting dynamic to the Superhero/ Sidekick trope.
