Burt Ward finally was honored with a start on the Hollywood Walk of Fame last week on January 9th, 2020. Ward, who starred as Robin the Boy Wonder on TV’s Batman, received his star in the television category and was the first star awarded in 2020. Shortly after Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony Burt, and his wife Tracy, hosted the first annual Batusi for World Peace Day at The Hollywood Museum located in the Historic Max Factor Building

In an effort to raise awareness for The Need For Peace Burt and Tracy invited the entire world, at 1:30 PST, to stop what ever they were doing and unite and celebrate by dancing the Batusi together for Peace in honor of and in tribute to Adam West - The True Batman and The Bright Knight. The Dynamic Duo asked fans to leave behind everyday worries and stresses in a world gone crazy, and dance and have fun.

Burt and Tracy pray for world peace daily, and created this event to bring everyone together in this world that has become so divided. 

“We want to celebrate everything great about our world, and we want everyone to love and appreciate one another, help each other, and help animals, all while having spontaneous fun together for the Cause of Peace.  We think that if as many people as possible come together to do a Global BATUSI for World Peace for these few moments one day each year, we can all be closer as a people.”  

Burt lead professional dancers, costumed characters depicting Batman, Robin, Batgirl, and Catwoman, Batfans and Gentle Giants fans in dancing the BATUSI with a “Holy Wow!” Bat- fans joined together world wide, with locations including New York City’s famous Times Square, Australia, Scotland, Las Vegas, Florida, England, and Adam West’s home town of Walla Walla, The world was dancing to a brand new song called Batman Doing The Batusi written by Tracy Ward in honor of Adam West. Following the Batusi dance, Burt and Tracy presented The First Annual SUPERHEROES TO THE RESCUE AWARDS . Real Life Superheroes Portia de Rossi (not present), Chris Van Dorn of Batman 4 Paws (not pictured), Alex Zsolt (Robin), and Susan Russell (left of Tracy) were honored and celebrated at the event for their accomplishments in "Saving the world everyday in their own way".
