CHARLIZE THERON'S NEW LOOK IN "THE OLD GUARD" FIRST LOOK SET PICS

Fresh off the News boat are some pictures from Netflix’s latest graphic novel adaption, this time from Image. I am old enough to remember way back to 2017 when Greg Rucka and Leandro Fernadez teamed up together to introduce the world to The Old Guard, the action packed story of old soldiers who never die…and yet cannot seem to fade away. Now Rucka and Director Gina Prince-Bythewood are bringing the story to Netflix.

Led by a warrior named Andy (Charlize Theron), a covert group of tight-knit mercenaries with a mysterious inability to die have fought to protect the mortal world for centuries. But when the team is recruited to take on an emergency mission and their extraordinary abilities are suddenly exposed, it’s up to Andy and Nile (Kiki Layne), the newest soldier to join their ranks, to help the group eliminate the threat of those who seek to replicate and monetize their power by any means necessary. Based on the comic book of the same name, The Old Guard will star Charlize Theron, Kiki Layne, Marwan Kenzari, Luca Marinelli, Harry Melling, Van Veronica Ngo, with Matthias Schoenaerts and Chiwetel Ejiofor and is directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood.
