IDW PUBLISHING'S “COMIC-CON@HOME”

Nope, not this year. No San Diego Comic Con, but you can still enjoy a-lot of the convention scene from the comfort of your home. No lines, sweaty fans, or kids ruining your cosplay San Diego Comic-Con @Home is a thing and here we are. IDW is stilloffering their SDCC schedule on YouTube, and we have assembled the schedule here for you.  IDW Publishing welcomes you to enjoy “Comic-Con@Home” with a series of eight wildly insightful creator panels, plus convention exclusive comic variants and signed bookplate edition graphic novels!  

 

“While we’ll miss seeing the enthusiasm of fans face-to-face this year, we’re thrilled to be able to connect with each and every one of you through some truly engaging panels,” says Chris Ryall, IDW’s President, Publisher, and CCO. “We’re excited and grateful to have so many exceptional creative talents participating!”

 Comic-Con International has created dedicated web pages (see links below) for each panel, where fans can sign up for automatic notification for when the panels will go live online! And don’t worry if you miss the panel when it first launches -- the best thing about Comic-Con@Home is that you can watch any and all programming at your leisure from the comfort of your own home, anytime you want!

The Science of Back to the Future

Flux Capacitor, hoverboards, flying cars, and time travel. The Back to the Future stories have introduced us to a lot of interesting and futuristic ideas. Join the Fleet Science Center and IDW for a closer look at the Back to the Future comic series and for an exciting reveal of a mind-blowing crossover: Back to the Future meets Transformers! The creative team behind Back to the FutureTransformers, and the new crossover will share how they dream up their fantastic stories and discuss with local scientists if and how the science in their stories might work.
